Pizzo like Tropea is also situated on a cliff above the sea. The old town is beautiful who, with it’s old houses and facades is worth a visit. Also worth seeing is the old Aragoner Castle on the outskirts of the town.

Tropea: Distance approx. 8 km
Picturesque town and best known holiday destination in Kalabrien.
The small pilgrim church Santa Maria dell'Isola is Tropeas landmark. It is accessable over a long series of steps. At the cliffs beside the church a nicely layed out garden can be found.(Picture).
A little away from the busy center of the old town, there are many shops with a great vareity, restaurants, cafés and “Trottorien”, there are still quiet lanes in which the flair of this old town can still be enjoyed (Picture).
