Pizzo like Tropea is also situated on a cliff above the sea. The old town is beautiful who, with it’s old houses and facades is worth a visit. Also worth seeing is the old Aragoner Castle on the outskirts of the town.

Picturesque town and best known holiday destination in Kalabrien.
The small pilgrim church Santa Maria dell'Isola is Tropeas landmark. It is accessable over a long series of steps. At the cliffs beside the church a nicely layed out garden can be found.

A little away from the busy center of the old town, there are many shops with a great vareity, restaurants, cafés and “Trottorien”, there are still quiet lanes in which the flair of this old town can still be enjoyed
